Hiked out this morning with a few friends to locate a Long-eared owl that has been spotted Whitby, Ontario and It was another dull overcast day in the GTA! Getting used to these dull winter days, like living in a cave you learn to adjust your eyes. After an hour or more of searching, we found our Long-eared Owl. Not the best light, and considering it was backlit, I am happy (for now) with these few photos of this long-eared owl in flight.
This Long-eared Owl was photographed with the old Nikon D1H & 300mm Nikkor AFS f/4.
